Hi, I’m Sarah Ward (she/her). I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) based in Seattle. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted as a whole person - not reduced to a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Every person has a unique story, and there isn’t one “right” way to live, heal or move through the world. My goal is to create a space where you can show up authentically, explore who you are, process life’s challenges, and discover what feels authentic, meaningful, and sustainable for you.
I work with individuals, couples, partners, and polycules, with special interest and experience supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent clients, and polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous clients. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from several evidence-based therapies including DBT, CBT, IFS, somatic, narrative, and EFT. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, identity exploration, trauma, life transitions, or patterns that no longer serve you, I’ll meet you with curiosity, honesty, and genuine care. Together, we’ll balance acceptance and change, deepen self-understanding, cultivate insight, practical skills and resilience, to create a life that feels authentic, connected, fulfilling and meaningful to you.
